WireTap Pro goes Universal

Ambrosia Software has updated its audio recording software WireTap Pro to version 1.3. The update is free to registered users. WireTap Pro costs $19 and a demo is available for download.

WireTap Pro enables you to record any audio on your Mac, from recording sounds using a microphone or line-in connection to grabbing audio clips from DVDs, digitizing records, recording streaming audio from the Internet and more.

The updated release of WireTap Pro is a Universal binary that runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs, and it’s also compatible with the Mac OS X v10.5 “Leopard” release given to developers at this past June’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Various bug fixes and enhancements have also been made.

WireTap Pro requires Mac OS X v10.3 or later.
